The project proposes to build an event space for large parties, weddings, business conferences, et al, and will be composed of two main rooms -
a ballroom and a banquet hall, plus a lounge, a mezanine level with balcony and 2 VIP/office/dressing/'ready' rooms plus a catering kitchen and facilities totaling around 8000 sq. ft.
The system design must achieve all of the client's goals:
- Be able to support 1 large party throughout the entire space or just portions thereof
- Be able to support 2 smaller parties simultaneously
- i.e. each of the main rooms plus ancillary areas like the dressing/ready room(s) and/or the lounge and/or mezzanine
- Paging support either throughout or just to service areas (svc kitchen, restrooms, etc.)
- Easy access for renters to provide their own music (CD, DVD, MP3, iPod, DJ)
- Internet streaming music, e.g. from Internet (for background music)
- Wireless microphone systems for speeches and presentations
- Neat and professional installation that is presentable and servicable with ease
- Dead simple operation requiring not much training and with minimal maintenance
- Create a high quality experience without breaking the bank
- Strong warranty and support channel
FHS delivers on all of these points
Using multi-room pro-audio gear from Rane, Crown and Sonance and various other equipments from Tascam, Shure and Middle Atlantic, the system will provide for two each of the following sources:
- CD/DVD player (capable of mp3 and other digital formats)
- iPod docking
- Streaming Audio including free Internet Radio and [optional] pay services like Rhapsody™ or Pandora™
- Wireless Microphones (DJ / MC, presenters, speeches)
- DJ mixing board hookups (1 per each "Main" room.)
* system is capable of same or different music source playback and volume level control, independently, in each of the 8 areas. System can be scaled larger or smaller based on needs.
